Planning and Process Support

Spearheading the effort to increase the efficiency by which Astellas Pharma Global Development Europe (APGD-EU) brings new drugs to market is the central responsibility of the Planning and Process Support department.

The department is made up of several sections, including R&D Finance, Planning & Administration, Clinical Quality Assurance, R&D Business Information Management, R&D Training, and Outsourcing & CRO Relations. By coordinating their efforts, each of these sections ensures the development and implementation of effective strategies, as well as expeditious processes, procedures, and systems which help to fulfil one of the primary goals of Astellas: bringing new drugs to market in order to meet the unmet needs of patients, their families, and caregivers.
